Sunday Selections: A Fresh Coat of Paint
We’re trying out a new feature that showcases some of the week’s new additions for our weekend shoppers.
With spring around the corner, our minds are on ways to keep a space feeling light and airy without getting rid of everything we own. Incorporate furniture painted in white or light colors for a cozy feel that doesn’t weigh down a room. Whether you prefer a shabby chic white, a brushed-on baby blue, or a warm and solid oatmeal, different colors and styles of painting give each piece a unique character and charm.

Better Together: Antique Trunk + Shabby White Dresser
Like everyone’s grandma says: opposites attract. As a vintage furniture company, we know this also applies with furniture. So often we find ourselves talking with roommates or a couple with different tastes who are looking to furnish their home. So we’re putting together combinations of pieces that are unusual, but really work together. We love the feminine look of this shabby white dresser in contrast with a handsome antique trunk. We think it’s because both pieces are from the same era — the 1920s — not to mention the fact that they’re both totally functional.
Patinated Wood and Tin Trunk, $188
Shabby White Bachelorette Chest, $475
