We’re looking for that special someone to join our crew of quirky, hard-working individuals! If you’re at all familiar with our company, you probably already know that we are a small local business. However, we operate and produce like a larger company. Everyone in our small staff wears many hats, and this position would be no different.
 
The candidate:
– Is an organized and self-motivated individual who is excited to be part of a team
– Is ready to get physical with a strong, healthy body
– Enjoys talking to and working with people/customers
– Is available to work Saturdays
 
Daily tasks will include:
– Wrapping and prepping sold furniture for pickups & deliveries
– Loading and unloading furniture from truck
– Answering phone calls and taking sales orders
– Organizing furniture and inventory within the showroom
 
Beneficial but not required:
– Retail experience
– Photography and/or design background
 
This is a full-time position, 40 hrs/week. Starting pay rate is $15-$17/hour.
 
There is room for growth and expansion of your role within the company depending on the skill set you bring with you. The So-Long-Summer Sticker Sale is happening on Saturday, Sept. 15th; it’s a 1-day in-store only event so come on down and visit us in our Midtown Manhattan showroom! ALL INVENTORY WILL BE ON SALE (including online-only warehouse items), and discounts range from 12%-60%. Items will be stickered to show discount amount.

On Saturday, November 25th, we’re hosting our big annual sale for Small Business Saturday, giving you a chance to save some money while supporting a small local business.

It will be an IN-STORE-ONLY sticker sale; all inventory will be on sale with discounts ranging from 12%-60%. So whether you’ll be purchasing gifts for others or items for yourself, we hope to see you there!

About Us

Furnish Green is Manhattan’s local vintage furniture store. We hunt for unique vintage and antique pieces and bring 15-35 items into our showroom in New York City every weekday. Our philosophy is to provide creative local consumers with unique, well-made, long-lasting and reasonably priced pieces of furniture so that they can design their own homes, businesses, and sets in a meaningful way.
