Call us biased, but the team at Furnish Green are all big fans of shopping vintage for our holiday gifts. Unwrapping a vintage item feels unique and special (and is a whole lot less likely to be something that the person already owns)! The halls of Furnish Green are decked with all sorts of treasures, large and small, ready for last-minute holiday shopping that’s sure to delight the loved ones in your life.
A kitchen wizard will say “bon appetit” to classics like a Le Creuset dutch oven or a set of Pyrex mixing bowls! Or double the fun (and the color) with a pair of orange cast iron pans, pair of baby blue enamel pans, or a pair of baby pink enamel pans. This deco moderne citrus press is a staff favorite. And there’s plenty more in the store with single Pyrex dishes in an array of colors, along with pots, plates, and more!
Quirky and colorful might as well be our middle name here at Furnish Green… seriously, I could spend all day linking you to oddball cute stuff. A small sampling for you though is coming in on this blue touch-tone phone (great for doing prop comedy). Ceramic animals offer a nice alternative to pet ownership and let you get more exotic, like this black panther or this legless turtle. Their inner child (or outer child, if they’re an actual child) will love this labyrinth game, set of cat nesting dolls, or child-sized llama coat rack. The staff agrees that this rainbow wastebasket is a winner, and these Spanish Mickey and Minnie prints are magnifico! The shop is chock-full of weird and bright tchotchkes for stocking stuffings from toys to 8-tracks.

Everyone loves a candle! Keep it feeling special and personal with Lorelai Candles sold in-store. This small woman-owned business uses organic beeswax and scents to make beautiful candles that smell as good as they look. We’ve collaborated with Lorelai for a line of one-of-a-kind candles made in vintage vessels like mugs, gravy boats, and more. Burn the candle and then clean it out for a special keepsake! We also have vessel-free mold candles in an array of shapes – buy with a vintage plate for both display and catching wax.
Book journals, handmade by Ex Libris Anonymous, are proven to bring a smile to almost every face we’ve seen. Each one is made from a vintage book (often one that was being disposed of) – they’re transformed into spiral-bound journals filled with blank sections divided by original page selections from the book. They’re oh-so-special and are a surefire hit for just about anyone.
